I am a former literature teacher, an occasional photographer, and a current, constant student of art and design. I love combinations of high- and low-culture, of the classic and contemporary, and most surprising contrasts — wherever they may be found. A lifetime spent feeling like there should be more hours in the day has made me a dedicated seeker of efficiency. My approach to UX Design combines this with a genuine curiosity about people: how they feel, what they want, how they act.

In my free time, I enjoy drawing, reading, writing, long hikes, bad reality tv, cycling, pretending to understand poetry, and ice cream. I used to run marathons, but my toenails fell off.
